Le Conseil de Vie Collégienne du collège Simone de Beauvoir is commited to the Solidarity Festival (17-25 /11/2017)

During poetic workshops, pupils and teachers wrote poems that were offered to people in need and associations.

French ambassadors have a dream ... the dream of seeing everyone united around the joy of living... they wish to build a world were we cherish the love, the liberty, the respect we share...

Let's talk about "The Truth of the World "

How to be open minded ? How to overcome fear and hatred? No prejudices, but PEACE!

This is the goal that aims to reach the french Cie Lililabel .

She presents a Happening called "Etranges étranger": 2 refugees settle in the school yard. The students discover them in the morning. They wonder about their identity, ttheir history, their future...

They help them with their food … they offer them intrigued...or caring look, smiles.

When pupils realise that it's a show, they suddenly get sad, angry, but also proud...They have opened their mind and their heart. They have been enlightened citizens.

It was a big event in our town.

It was an opportunity to develop a reflexion led in mars and june 2017:

How to welcome Migrants?

Our students created poems, short stories, choreography, a radio show...

The dissemination has been very important.

La Fleur au fusil

Our pupils read some soldiers'letters. They studied their historical context and they learned (thanks to a comedian) how to tell them in an expressive way. Then, they were very proud to offer their presentation during the Armistice Day, to celebrate Peace.

and have workshops to understand how such behaviours and how to be careful and helpful. Some of them wrote a song and made a little movie . They won the national price: ''coup de coeur du jury"

This association help to be secure on road, riding a bicycle or a scooter. With there teachers also pupils had workshops, lessons, tests and they graduate.

.... our ''documentalist teacher'' joined by a journalist and a teacher of Highschhool are helping pupils to think about different subjects : freedom of expression, conscience, citizenship, equality, non-discrimination, anti-prejudice, anti-racism, respect for others, secularism, conspiracy theory, community retrenchment , intolerance.

Definition of "citizen", media analysis, their functioning, freedom of expression, sources of information, ethics and deontology of journalism, objectivity, internet; how the appropriation of the media fits in the republic.

The final product: make a radio show relocated to Espace Aragon, live, made of headings made by young people on topics and chronic varied. Other young people will attend the show, a musical time and the screening of a film will be part of the event.
